About this Group

These letters were the second set of letters written by Paul. He only spent about three weeks with the Thessalonians before moving on to Athens and Corinth. Based on these letters we can determine the themes that Paul emphasized in the time he spent with them and how they were inspired to become a model for the early Church. These same themes are just as important to us today as it was for the first century Church. These letters have been called the “eschatological epistles” because they carry some of the clearest passages concerning the coming of Jesus for the Church and His second coming.
