Quantrell Bryant

I was raised in a Roman Catholic family and attended a private Catholic school, where I served as an altar boy. As a child, I had an appreciation and love for what I later understood to be the presence of God, even though it was before I confessed Jesus Christ as my Savior. It was not until my senior year of high school that I prayed with my older brother, Matthew, to receive Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord. From that moment on, I knew my life would never be the same because of God’s grace.

During my college years at the University of Washington (U.W.) and Boise State University (B.S.U.), I was blessed with the opportunity to play college football as a Place Kicker. The transition from U.W. to B.S.U. is a story of the Father’s great love and faithfulness during an exceptionally difficult season of my life. But by God’s grace, I earned many All-American Awards while playing for B.S.U., including an NCAA Statistical Champion Award which is displayed in B.S.U.’s Hall of Fame. In the midst of these many transitions and faith-stretching opportunities, I was blessed with my amazing and beautiful wife, Jen. Over the years, we have witnessed God’s amazing grace and faithfulness.

Prior to serving on staff at a local church in Boise, I worked in the corporate sphere for companies such as Blue Cross of Idaho. At that time, our hearts were burdened to serve God’s people. In fact, Jen and I have served in local church ministry for most of our marriage. We have served in just about every area of ministry from children’s ministries, to youth directors, as a lay pastor, before I served ten years in full-time pastoral ministry.

We have seven incredible children, which includes a wonderful son-in-law and an amazing daughter-in-law. Our family has also been blessed with three beautiful grandchildren!

Jen and I are excited to be part of what the Lord is doing in the hearts of the high school youth and young adults at Calvary. It is a privilege to partner with the Holy Spirit and the families of C.C.W.C. to see both groups grow stronger in their faith in Jesus Christ.
